Is this watermark tool private and safe to use?
Yes. Everything runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your photos and logo are processed locally on your device — nothing is uploaded, stored, logged, or sent to any server. Unlike many watermark tools that require uploading images to remote servers, Prescosoft processes everything client-side.
Can I watermark multiple photos at once?
Yes. Drop an entire folder of photos into the batch queue and watermark them all in one pass. Each image is processed locally with a live progress bar and per-file status, then download the watermarked photos individually or as a single ZIP archive. There are no daily limits and no file size caps.
Can I use my own logo as a watermark?
Yes. Upload a logo image (PNG, JPEG, WebP, or BMP) and place it anywhere on your photos. You control the logo size relative to the image width, its opacity, and its position. Transparent PNG logos look best and are drawn with their transparency preserved.
Does watermarking reduce photo quality?
No. Watermarked images are rendered at the original pixel dimensions — the watermark is composited onto a full-resolution canvas, so no upscaling or downscaling of your photo occurs. JPEG output is encoded at high quality (92%), and PNG photos keep the PNG format, so transparent images stay transparent.
Which image formats are supported?
You can watermark JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP images. Output preserves the original format for PNG (with transparency) and uses high-quality JPEG for everything else. The tool reads the image dimensions and renders the watermark relative to the image size, so large photos get proportionally sized watermarks.
Can I control where the watermark is placed?
Yes. A visual 3x3 placement grid lets you position the watermark in any of nine spots — corners, edges, or dead center. You can also adjust the margin from the edges, rotate the watermark (e.g. a diagonal banner), control its opacity, and enable a repeating tile mode for full-surface coverage.
